Solid moulded charger body with a metal striker under the cap and a blade in the base. It genuinely looks like a charger, which is the point.
First use
The action itself is good — press and it fires. The friction is the extraction: reaching down to the socket, pulling the unit free and reorienting it took me noticeably longer than lifting a tool off the door card.
Real-world scenarios
Strong for fire and lock-failure scenarios where you have a few seconds. Weaker in water entry, where the footwell fills first and the socket is exactly where the water goes.
